Digitizer Menus - Most contractors that utilize eCaliper create digitizer menus that contain all their routine keystrokes. Organize access to the data you require routinely such as resource item codes, old estimates, model estimates, and other similar data elements.

		Common operations on your data such as creation of new records, duplications, access of last record or previous record, reports, and calculations can also be placed on your digitizer menu.
		This set up avoids the necessity to keep switching back and forth from your digitizer to your keyboard.

Store the Digitized Image - Another advantage of eCaliper is that our digitizing interface actually stores the digitized image you create while taking off a plan.

		Plot the final results of your digitized takeoff in hard copy to use as a checking device with the original plans to ensure accuracy.
		Since your image is stored, you can print or plot the image when you complete the takeoff or at a later date when necessary.
